Go alcohol-free in July
Help people affected by cancer. Read more...
Each year, Barwon Health treats and cares for over 20,000 patients across the Geelong and Victorian South West region.
Barwon Health’s Andrew Love Cancer Centre and Cancer Services provides comprehensive, integrated, world-class cancer care for adults undergoing treatment and recovery.
Funds raised this year through Dry July will support oncology and wellness initiatives that enhance physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing. Contributions will also assist in the purchase of essential medical equipment and comfort and care items to improve the treatment experience for local cancer patients.
These initiatives help patients receiving care as both inpatients and day stay patients, while also supporting Barwon Health's Andrew Love Cancer Centre Wellness Lounge - a dedicated space where patients and their families can find comfort, rest, and emotional support during their cancer journey.
Go Dry this July and help enhance comfort, care, and wellness programs for people affected by cancer across Barwon Health Cancer Services.

Important Note
Dry July is a fundraising campaign aimed at challenging social drinkers to change their habits for a month and make some healthy lifestyle changes. We would encourage people to drink responsibly and stick to the recommended daily guidelines for the rest of the year. We advise heavy drinkers or people dependent on alcohol to speak with their GP before signing up to Dry July.
